Recently I traveled to Illinois for Midwest Regional Sisterhood where I got to meet lots of lovely sisters from surrounding chapters! This article is an overview of my time there 🙂
As a kid, wanting to fit in with my white peers, I often felt ashamed of my culture and its traditions. I now take extreme pride in my Vietnamese culture and wrote this article to share this tradition of what we do with our baby teeth for good luck. This piece is a short story about the first time I lost one of my baby teeth and learned about this tradition.
This article recaps the Nu Chapter Sisters’ efforts to raise awareness for sexual assault awareness month through APhiG Speaks. Sisters invited NC State students and faculty to take a stand against sexual assault and domestic violence and raise money to support the NC State Women’s Center Survivor Fund.
In an effort to bridge the gap between alumni and new sisters, Nu Chapter has put emphasis on three end-of-the-year events that will provide opportunities in building connections. These connections will build a foundation for the continued process of lifelong sisterhood.
