It’s a shared light that glows warmly in each sister, fueled by friendship, respect, and a unified vision. No matter where life takes us or how many years have passed since our initiation, each sister remains an integral and cherished part of Alpha Phi Gamma.

Step 1
CHECK TO SEE IF WE ARE ON YOUR CAMPUS

If you don’t see your university listed, don’t worry! Head over to our Start Collegiate Chapter to learn more about how you can bring Alpha Phi Gamma to your campus.
Step 2
PARTICIPATE IN OUR YEAR-ROUND RECRUITMENT
When you’re ready to learn more and take the first steps toward joining our sisterhood, visit your local Alpha Phi Gamma chapter’s Instagram page to get a glimpse into their recruitment schedule that current or upcoming semester.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to their recruitment chair for more information about upcoming events, the recruitment process, and how you can become a part of this amazing organization.
Step 3
ATTEND RECRUITMENT
Our recruitment period spans two weeks at the start of each academic term, offering an opportunity for interested women and sisters to connect on a deeper level through various planned activities. Each chapter has its own set of requirements for bid eligibility.
At the conclusion of this period, a formal bid (or invitation) is extended to women who exhibit shared values, a passion for philanthropy, strong character, financial responsibility, and leadership qualities, among other attributes.
Step 4
COMPLETE THE NEW MEMBER EDUCATION PROCESS
Women who are selected will have the opportunity to participate in our six-week New Member Education Process.
This process is designed to help you become well-acquainted with our history, traditions, and values, while also preparing you to actively contribute to the sorority. Upon successfully completing the process, you will be formally initiated as a lifelong Sister of Alpha Phi Gamma.
