As the school year comes to a close, graduation season is upon us! This year, Zeta Chapter had four Pi Dolla $ign class sisters graduate. Being from the Re-Charter class, they have been with the chapter from the start and have contributed to the foundation the Active House has now. We wanted to commemorate these graduating sisters in this article and allow them to offer their insight of their undergraduate years!
This article is addressing the drastic increase in hate crimes and anti-Asian sentiment since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. This article details the apparent origin of this spike, narrates the personal experiences of two Sisters, and reminds the community that we are greater than what has been done to us.
The fight for rights of the LGBTQ+ community is an ongoing battle, and many state legislatures are attempting to input more obstacles along the way. One Arizona clinic hopes to challenge these politicians by providing medical care for those seeking transgender treatment.
The systematic oppression of individuals due to their identity (race, ethnicity, gender, class, etc.) is deeply embedded in our society. It’s important that we take a stand against the injustices that are presented in our society and confront them together. We need to make sure that our voices are heard so that we can continue to fight for a better future.
