Small Businesses of Iota Chapter
The Sisters of Iota Chapter wants to highlight two very special Sisters who work very hard to own and run their own small businesses. We asked them to tell us more about why they wanted to start their own business and how we, as Sisters, can support them in their endeavors. Here is what they said.
Opening an Etsy business can be an attractive option for individuals who are creative and enjoy making unique and handmade items. Etsy is a popular online marketplace that connects buyers with sellers who offer a wide range of handmade, vintage, and craft supplies. The platform provides a great opportunity for small business owners to showcase their talents, reach a global audience, and make a living doing something they love. Additionally, Etsy offers a user-friendly platform and a supportive community, making it an appealing option for entrepreneurs looking to start an online business. Overall, opening an Etsy business can be a fulfilling and profitable venture for individuals who have a passion for creating and a desire to share their unique products with the world, and that’s why I wanted to start my own! My name is Jennele Nguyen. I crossed in Fall 2019 with Iota Chapter’s Rho Vie En Rosé class. I always had a hobby of collecting different types of cups and mugs but never found ones that fit my style or fit my liking. After researching how to make customizable cups, I realized that this could be a true hobby of mine so I started my own shop of customizable cups! People can support my shop by following my socials @jennyscraftycafe on instagram and esty as well as purchasing! https://www.etsy.com/shop/JennysCraftyCafe?ref=seller-platform-mcnav
Hello hello sisters! My name is Kat Lee, and I crossed in Fall 2018 with the Omicron Opalescent class, Iota Chapter. I started my journey in the small business industry in July of 2022, and am now the proud owner of The NamNam Co. Growing up, I was always a really creative kid. I liked to channel my ideas and thoughts into projects ranging anywhere from drawing to crocheting. Now, I use digital art as a medium to create stickers, prints, and pins to share my work with the world. I specialize particularly in designs related to food!
When people ask me how to support The NamNam Co., I always like to say that anything and everything helps. Small businesses thrive off every like, share, comment, and follow. A purchase isn’t the only means to show support!
With that being said, I will leave a link to my instagram and Etsy below if you’d like to stop by! I am so appreciative of my sisters, and especially to my line, for constantly showing up and out for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being the best and most supportive ladies I could ever ask for.
